St. Viator Elementary Students enjoyed the beautiful morning as they walked over to their first Class Mass of the '24-'25 school year!
Teachers, students, and Parishioners were pleased to see Bishop Bartosic celebrating Mass - what a special way to start our Class Masses!
All students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade attend Mass weekly. This reinforces the classroom religion lessons and formation.
The practice is a particular support for our 2nd grade students preparing for Reconciliation & First Holy Communion, and our 8th grade students preparing for Confirmation. All students are encouraged to stay quiet and mindful during Mass, regardless of their faith background.
The Wednesday 8:15AM Mass is regularly scheduled at the St. Viator church site, and we are pleased to celebrate the Mass with other Parishioners. School parents and extended families are welcome to attend the Mass - we invite you to join us! The students always enjoy seeing familiar faces, and today they were excited to see Father Ben on their way out of the church.
Each week, we are adding another piece of our school routine. Celebrating the first Class Mass is one more addition to our amazing St. Viator experience.
